Srinagar, July 28(KNS): A mysterious explosion in Sopore, north Kashmir, claimed the lives of four individuals on Monday afternoon.

"The blast occurred in Shair Colony, Sopore, resulting in four people sustaining severe injuries. They were shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced three of them dead upon arrival," an official said here.

He said that the fourth individual, who was critically injured, was referred to SKIMS Soura but succumbed to his injuries en route.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Nadroo and Azam Ashraf Mir, both residents of Shair Colony, and Adil Rashid Bhat.

Meanwhile, Police have filed a case and launched an investigation into the incident. (KNS)
