Jammu, Jan 9 (KNS): 

Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF ) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen today called on Lieutenant Governor( LG )Manoj Sinha at Rajbhawan ,Jammu and discussed prevailing socio - political  scenario in jammu and kashmir.

   Hakeem Yaseen urged the LG to finalse Business rules as early as possible to bring efficacy in the governance and administration.  He said keeping business rules in  hanging position has  badly affected  people's grievance redressal  mechanism. He also urged the LG to prevail upon the central government to restore statehood earnestly which has been assured not only by the Supreme Court but by PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit shah on various occasions ,even on the floor of the Parliement. He said prolonged delay in restoration of statehood has shaken  the people’s faith in the system .
 
Expressing his concern on delay in restoring  statehood and finalisation of Business rules, Hakeem Yaseen said  that majority of the  people  were extremely dismayed  in this regard.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel 

PDF Chairman urged the LG to announce a special employment package for the youth of jammu and kashmir. He sought degree college and sub district hospital for educationally and socially backward area of Khag in Budgam district. 

     Hakeen Yaseen also sought intervention of LG to complete various  languishing projects of public importance in Khansahib constituency including mini hydle projects at Sukhnag and shaliganga nallas  , Gujjar hostel ,  Grid station , Guest house and SDH at Khansahib . He apprised the LG that crores of rupees have been spent on these languishing projects in past and needs further funding  for thier completion.

 PDF leader also demanded construction of Tossamaidan - Doodhpathri and Yusmarg tourist circuit on priority basis  to boost tourism , employment and better  livelihood activities in these areas.(KNS)
