Handwara, Aug 19 (KNS): The Handwara Media Association (HMA) Monday held its monthly review meeting at New City Park hotel near Government Degree College Handwara. The meeting presided by Association's President Tarique Raheem, Vice President Syed Imtiyaz and General Secretary Aadil Akbar was aimed to discuss the functioning of HMA and several other issues.

The meeting witnessed participation of maximum members and was joined by HMA's Patron Shamim Abdullah.

On the occasion members spoke about different issues being faced by them while performing professional duties on ground.

President Handwara Media Association (HMA) during his speech talked about diverse issues. He lauded the role of HMA members for highlighting the miseries and hardships being faced by general public on daily basis. He said that the primary duty of media was to highlight the basic issues confronting common people.

Later a four member committee including Aatif Qayoom, Dr Abdul Qayoom, Syed Imtiyaz and Aadil Akbar was framed who will take a call on granting membership to new members and few other issues.(KNS)
