IGP Kashmir Praises Budgam Villagers for Courageous Rescue of BSF Personnel

Srinagar, Sep 21 (KNS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Birdi, expressed his deep admiration for the bravery displayed by residents of Brell village in Waterhail, Budgam district, after a tragic accident involving a Border Security Force (BSF) vehicle.

Following the accident, in which a bus carrying BSF personnel skidded off the road and fell into a gorge, the villagers promptly rushed to the scene to rescue the injured. The IGP specifically praised their selfless efforts, noting that even women participated in the rescue operations.

IGP Birdi lauded the villagers for their courage, highlighting their efforts as an inspiring act of selflessness.

SSP Budgam, Nikhil Borkar, praised the locals for their swift and heroic rescue operation following the BSF vehicle accident in Brell village. He commended their efforts in saving the lives of the injured personnel, emphasizing that their timely intervention played a crucial role in minimizing the loss of life.(KNS).
