Anantnag, April 29 (KNS): Senior leader and NC Vice District President Anantnag Imran Shah has lauded the relentless efforts of Pahalgam MLA Altaf Ahmad Kaloo in reviving the tourism sector in the region. Shah commended Kaloo for leading from the front during recent crises and for remaining actively engaged since April 22 to restore normalcy and rebuild public confidence.
“MLA Kaloo’s dedication on the ground has been exemplary. Despite facing personal health setbacks, he has continued to fulfill his responsibilities with unwavering commitment,” Shah said.

In a significant move, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also held a cabinet meeting in Pahalgam—underscoring the region’s importance and the administration’s focus on its recovery.
Kaloo has actively engaged with all tourism stakeholders, especially local residents, to ensure their concerns are addressed and to build confidence for a sustainable revival of the sector.
