The discussions were comprehensive, covering topics such as post-retirement settlement, pensions, occupations pursued after retirement, and the requirements of CSD and ECHS facilities. The interaction also aimed to address any grievances the veterans might have had. Moreover, the Army sought to gauge the general sentiment of the local population, their perception of the Army post-retirement, and any difficulties they face due to Army operations in the area.
Despite the broad scope of the discussion, no specific grievances were raised by the ESMs. Instead, they expressed their gratitude towards the Army and appreciated the conduct of this veteran outreach initiative. (KNS)
