New Delhi, Jan 7 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at her North Block office on Tuesday as part of pre-Budget consultations ahead of the Union Budget presentation scheduled for February 1.

According to KNS, the first meeting between Abdullah and Sitharaman took place in November, shortly after Abdullah assumed office as Chief Minister.
Although the specifics of the discussions were not revealed, such pre-Budget consultations generally focus on addressing the J&K's concerns and securing adequate financial allocations in the Union Budget. (KNS)
