J&K DGP RR Swain assures robust security measures ahead of Lok Sabha elections

Srinagar, Apr 01 (KNS): As anticipation builds for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain has reaffirmed the commitment of the security forces to uphold safety and security during the electoral process.
 
Talking to reporters in Kathua district, DGP Swain stated, “The election process has started. We are taking many steps to ensure the conduct of elections in a safe and secure environment. Keeping in mind the safety of voters and candidates, senior officers of the police force are involved in planning and management and coordinating with the central government and central agencies,” DGP said.
