Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed concern over the looming water crisis in Jammu and Kashmir, stressing that it is not a sudden development but has been building up for years.
In a post on X, Abdullah highlighted the need for a proactive approach to water management and conservation by the government. He announced that he will be reviewing the measures the Jal Shakti (PHE) Department plans to implement to address the crisis. Additionally, over the coming months, he intends to engage with the people of J&K to discuss collective efforts in water conservation. (KNS)
