Srinagar, Oct 22(KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved financial assistance of Rs. 1.7 crore from the J&K Relief Fund for victims of the recent fire in Mulwarwan, Kishtwar district.
The fire, which broke out on October 14, 2024, caused extensive damage to the village.
In an official order, the Chief Minister has authorized Rs. 1.7 crore to assist 85 affected families, with each family set to receive Rs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel2 lakh. The funds have been transferred via NEFT to the Deputy Commissioner’s account in Kishtwar for distribution.
This aid aims to provide immediate relief to the affected families and help them recover from the damage. The government has instructed local authorities to ensure quick and fair disbursement of the financial assistance.(KNS).
