Jammu, Jan 18 (KNS): The gymnastics team from Jammu and Kashmir, groomed by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, delivered an impressive performance at the 69th National School Games, securing multiple medals across age categories.
In the Under 19 Girls category, Muskan won the Gold Medal in the Ball Event. Manya added two Silver Medals, one in the Ribbon Event and another in the Overall Individual category.
In the Under 17 category, Vaibhavi Sharma won the Gold Medal in the Hoop Event. She also secured two Silver Medals, one in the Overall Individual category and another in the Team Event. The Team Silver was won jointly with Aditya Choudhary and Triza Balal Thapa.
Director General Youth Services and Sports, Anuradha Gupta, congratulated the athletes and coaches for the achievement.

The Under 19 team was coached by Kamal Singh, while the Under 17 team was trained under Seema Mehra, whose mentorship played a key role in the success.(KNS)
