J&K Police approach Interpol for Red Corner Notice against Delhi blast accused doctor

Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police have requested Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice for Dr. Muzaffar, a doctor based in Qazigund, in connection with the Red Fort car blast investigation.

Dr. Muzaffar is the brother of Dr. Adil, who is among eight individuals, including three doctors, taken into custody in the case linked to the explosion that killed 13 people on Monday. Officials said his involvement came to light during questioning of those already arrested, seven of whom are from Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Investigators said Dr. Muzaffar had travelled to Turkiye in 2021 along with Dr. Muzammil Ganaie and Dr. Umar Nabi, the driver of the vehicle carrying explosives that detonated near Red Fort. The three reportedly remained in Turkiye for 21 days.

Police efforts to locate Dr. Muzaffar indicated that he left India for Dubai in August and is now believed to be in Afghanistan. Authorities have intensified the search and submitted a formal request to Interpol to assist in his apprehension.(KNS).
