Srinagar, Aug 24(KNS): Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti said on Saturday that the issues in J&K are not about Article 370, seat sharing, or elections, but about reconciliation, which should be addressed through dialogue.

Mehbooba Mufti stated that Jammu and Kashmir is not merely about Article 370, statehood, elections, or seat sharing but is a living, human issue.

She proposed ending burdensome measures like the PSA, UAPA, and the enemy Act.

"We believe that Jammu and Kashmir is not just about Article 370, statehood, elections, or seat sharing. For us, Jammu and Kashmir is a living, human issue. Our manifesto includes reconciliation and dialogue, discussions on trade and travel across the LOC, and addressing issues like the Sharda Peeth. We propose ending measures that burden people, such as the PSA, UAPA, and the enemy Act," she added.(KNS).
