MENDHAR, SEPTEMBER 14 (KNS) : Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana Monday laid the foundation stone for macadamization of road from Chajjala to Ramkund, Mendhar.
The project will be executed by the Public Works (R&B) Department under Cities & Towns Programme at an estimated cost of Rs. 40.00 Lacs.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the Government is committed to provide better road connectivity to the people of remote and far-flung areas.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that macadamization of this road will provide much needed relief to the locals by improving connectivity and boosting economic activities in the area.
He directed the executing agency to complete the work within stipulated time frame with quality as per prescribed standards.
Among others, senior officers of PWD (R&B), district administration and large number of locals were present on the occasion.(KNS)
