Srinagar, Au 31 (KNS): As per the directions of chairman jammu kashmir civil society forum and president pensioners United front Ab Qayoom wani a high level delegation of prominent leaders of JKCSF and PUF met Jenab Maqsood ul zaman DIG north Kashmir in his office chamber Baramulla today at 2pm.

The delegation was headed by chief spokesman jammu kashmir civil society forum and co ordinate JKLPUF Haji Farooq Ahmad lone.JKCSF and PUF leaders from north Kashmir were the part of delegation.

The leaders welcomed the DiG Maqsoodul zaman for assuming the charge of North kashmir.The leaders in the delegation apprised the DIG about the alarming increase in drug abuse in jammu and kashmir.Haji Farooq Ahmad lone said that drug abuse and corruption is the mother of all social evils and crimes.JKCSF leaders assured the officer in chair that JKCSF and PUF is committed to eradicate crimes , social evils and drug menace from the society and ready to coperate with adminstration and police for social reformation in the society provided their self esteem is protected.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Civil society members and leaders are working on a war footing basis to sanitize the religious leaders, parents , social activists especially parents about their role in shaping society and protecting our future generations of drug abuse.The leaders of JKCSF and PUF stressed for strong police public relations in which police officers have to play a positive role in rebuilding the trust deficit.

The DIG north Kashmir gave a positive response being an officer with high morale values and administrative capability and good moral character. The officer assured the delegation for full support in social reforming and in eradication of drug abuse in from the society.The delegation thanked the officer for his friendly attitude in dealing with the public's grievances .(KNS)
