JKPCC District President Urges Authorities to Ensure Accessibility and Relief in Remote Areas Amid Harsh Winter

Bandipora, December 28(KNS): Mushtaq Ahmad Tantrey, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) District President, has called for immediate action from the local administration to clear roads leading to far-flung areas of Bandipora district. The plea comes amid ongoing harsh winter conditions, which have left many remote areas inaccessible due to heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures.

In a statement issued today, Tantrey expressed grave concern over the difficulties faced by residents in these areas, where the lack of road access is severely hindering the delivery of essential services and supplies. He stressed the urgent need for the restoration of road connectivity to ensure that locals can meet their basic needs.

Highlighting the additional challenges posed by power outages in remote areas, the District President urged the authorities to prioritize restoring electricity supply. "Electricity is a basic necessity, especially in the cold. Restoring power is not just about convenience but safety," he emphasized.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Tantrey further appealed for a steady supply of essential items like cooking gas, food grains, and other necessary provisions. With extreme weather conditions persisting, many families are struggling to access basic commodities.

"The government must step up its efforts to ensure that no one is left in distress during this harsh winter. We cannot allow our people to suffer in silence," he said, calling for proactive measures to ensure the well-being of the residents.

The JKPCC District President also urged the local administration to collaborate with other agencies to address the situation swiftly. "We stand with the people of our district, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure their well-being during this challenging season," he added.

As the winter continues, the authorities' response to this urgent call for action will be closely monitored to ensure the safety and security of residents in these affected areas. (KNS)
