Ready

Jammu, September 20 (KNS): A group of aspirants for the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment has urged the authorities to review and clarify the prescribed educational qualification criteria for the posts.

In a representation submitted to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the aspirants said the eligibility conditions have caused concern among educated unemployed youth, particularly graduates and postgraduates who have been preparing for government recruitment examinations for several years.

The aspirants questioned the rationale behind restricting eligibility to the prescribed educational qualification and sought clarification on the policy basis for the condition.

They said candidates possessing higher educational qualifications should not be automatically excluded from the recruitment process merely because they have qualifications beyond the minimum prescribed criteria.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The aspirants appealed to JKSSB and the concerned government department to examine the matter and provide a clear explanation regarding the eligibility conditions.

They also said their demand was not aimed at depriving any section of candidates of employment opportunities, but at ensuring a fair and transparent examination of the recruitment criteria.

The aspirants urged the authorities to address their concerns and clarify the eligibility provisions in the larger public interest.(KNS)
