Baramulla, Oct 17 (KNS): Kashmir Central, Weekly magazine on Tuesday organised day-long conclave at north Campus, University of Kashmir, Baramulla.
The event was attended by scholars, students, Professors and activists who took part in lively discussion with the panelists. The conclave was organized in collaboration with the Army.
Among the participants were, Aijaz Bashir, Nodal Principal Kashmir Division Colleges; Prof Gul Mohammad Wani, Political scientist and Educationist; Mehjabeen Nabi, social activist; Mushtaq Ali Khan, famous film maker and artist; Bashir Assad, Editor-in-Chief Kashmir Central Weekly; WaheedJeelani, famous singer, artist and consulting editor Kashmir Central; and dignitaries of Army, educationists, local activists and schools and college students of Baramulla district.
The event started with the traditional (Izbandsoozi) in which all the guests participated. Cultural program was performed by artists, and afterwards the panel discussion started on “Pedagogies in Education” in which panelists spoke threadbare about the challenges in education sector and the modern ways to ameliorate the challenges beforehand.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The speakers debated vividly about the innovation in education and the ways to deeply curtail any imbalance. Participants enthusiastically contributed by posing lively questions which were answered by the speakers.
The program was divided into two sessions with each session has been moderated and debated by exclusive battery of speakers having divergent backgrounds.
The second theme was debated about “Preserving our cultural identities” in which speakers related to the theme spoke about Nurturing the roots of Kashmiri culture through Sufi traditions and fostering interfaith connect. Participants put forth their suggestions to eradicate the emerging menace from the society.
At the end, felicitation ceremony took place in which certificates were distributed among speakers, guests and school children. The contribution of Army helped to make the event successful and manage other affairs during the course. (KNS)
