Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): The executive body of the Press Club of Kashmir announced on Monday that a press club will soon be established in Srinagar, offering a dedicated space for the journalist fraternity in the region.
In an official statement, a spokesperson revealed that the administration has committed to providing full support in the swift establishment of the press club. The executive body, formed today, includes prominent journalists such as M. Saleem Pandit of the Times of India, who has been elected as the interim president, Zulfikar Majid of Deccan Herald as the general secretary, and Farzana Mumtaz of News Kashmir as the treasurer.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Following their nomination, the executive members met with the administration to discuss the necessary assistance for setting up the press club. The administration assured the executive body of its complete support, emphasizing that the club will be established in Srinagar as soon as possible. (KNS)
