Srinagar, Nov 17(KNS): The Kashmir Welfare Trust (KWT), led by Chairman Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo, organized Mission Wushnare 2024 at Bilaliya Educational Institute, Lal Bazar.
Over 200 families were provided with winter kits, including food, warm clothing, blankets, kangris, thermals, and hot water bottles.
Farooq Ahmad Shah, MLA Gulmarg, attended the event as Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of focusing on employment generation to help families address financial challenges.
The event also featured the distribution of sewing machines to support women’s empowerment and bicycles for students to ensure safer school commutes. A medical camp, organized by Help Poor Voluntary Trust, offered healthcare services to those in attendance.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Chairman Wangnoo emphasized, “Empowerment through assistance is our priority. Giving a hand is better than merely giving in hand.”
The event saw participation from civil society members, educationists, environmentalists, law enforcement officials, and students of Bilaliya Educational Institute, who helped distribute the aid.
Chairman Wangnoo thanked the administration, JK Police, dignitaries, and volunteers for their support and reiterated KWT’s commitment to humanitarian aid and empowerment.(KNS).
