Karnah, Feb 24(KNS): In a commendable effort, a total of 23 people, including exam aspirants, patients, and passengers, were airlifted from snow-bound Karnah area to Kupwara district headquarter amid road closure due to heavy snowfall.
Amidst the closure of the Sadhna Pass for the past six days, many passengers found themselves stranded in Karnah and Chowkibal, waiting for transportation.
During conversations with Kashmir News Service (kNS), the people of Karnah extend their heartfelt thanks to the SDM Karnah, Tehsildar Karnah, Indian Army, and the district administration for their swift and coordinated action in ensuring the safe airlift of those in need.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Assurances have been made by the authorities that the Sadhna Pass will be reopened shortly, with one-way traffic set to resume, bringing much-needed relief to the affected individuals and communities(KNS).
