LG Manoj Sinha Chairs High-Level Security Meet, Orders Strongest Action to Avenge Pahalgam Terror Attack

Srinagar, Apr 23 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha today chaired a crucial security review meeting to ensure swift implementation of the directions passed by Hon’ble Union Home Minister Amit Shah in yesterday’s high-level meeting regarding the Pahalgam terror attack.

During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor is learnt to have reiterated that the Government of India, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, remains fully committed to avenging the killing of innocent citizens and ensuring that such dastardly acts of terrorism do not recur in the future.

According to KNS , Lieutenant Governor informed the meeting that the Hon’ble Home Minister has directed that all might must be used for the strongest possible action against the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack and that the entire ecosystem of terrorism must be dismantled.

He asserted that while nothing can compensate for the innocent lives lost in this most heinous act of terror, it is imperative to avenge the killings and completely destroy terror outfits and those aiding and abetting terrorism, wherever they may be.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The Lieutenant Governor directed Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) to take immediate steps on the ground to restore a sense of security among the people and to address their concerns.

“I want to assure the nation that the scourge of terrorism will be fought with full determination. All means and measures must be taken to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack,” the Lieutenant Governor is learnt to have told the Director General of Police (DGP) and senior police officials.

The high-level meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, DGP, and all senior officials of the civil administration and police.(KNS)
