LG Manoj Sinha Interacts with Kashmir Women’s Organisation


Srinagar, May 28 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today met with members of the Kashmir Women’s Organisation at Raj Bhawan and extended his felicitations to those working for women empowerment in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor praised the significant contributions of women in Jammu and Kashmir, noting that Nari Shakti continues to excel in every sector and plays a vital role in the Union Territory’s growth and development.

“Today, our daughters are scripting new history and emerging as role models. They are achieving remarkable success in diverse fields and have become key drivers of socio-economic progress,” the LG said.

He emphasized that the Indian Constitution guarantees equal rights to women and highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening women’s empowerment through dedicated programmes and initiatives.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Our aim is to create greater opportunities for our daughters in important sectors, enabling them to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat and Aatm-Nirbhar Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.

The Lieutenant Governor also extended his best wishes to the members of the Kashmir Women’s Organisation for their future endeavours.

Earlier, the delegation briefed the LG about their ongoing initiatives focused on women empowerment, political participation, and community engagement in the region.(KNS)
