Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Advisor to the Chief Minister of J&K, Nasir Aslam Wani, on Wednesday stated that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha should have invited Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to the ongoing security review meeting.
"We have consistently maintained that the Lieutenant Governor is overseeing law and order. However, in principle, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should have been included, given his extensive experience in handling security and law enforcement in the region.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelYet again, he was not invited," Wani said.
Notably, LG Manoj Sinha is presiding over a security review meeting at PCR Kashmir today, attended by senior officials from the Police, Army, CRPF, and other security agencies. (KNS)
