Srinagar, July 24(KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha underscored the imperative of countering terrorism in the Jammu region, asserting a resolute stance against foreign militants responsible for recent attacks.
At a ceremony held at Raj Bhawan, Sinha expressed concern over the targeting of families supporting peace initiatives in areas such as Poonch, Rajouri, Kathua, and Reasi. He affirmed the administration's commitment to exact retribution for every act of violence perpetrated by external terrorists within the region.
"We will avenge every drop of blood spilled by foreign terrorists in the Jammu region," Sinha declared, addressing attendees

In his address, Sinha extended appreciation to the Gujjar and Bakerwal communities, describing them as pivotal in the defense efforts along the borders and the Line of Control (LoC). He commended their bravery and resilience, affirming the administration's commitment to advancing their welfare and empowerment.
