Anantnag, Sep 19 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police has organised the Martyr DySP Humayun Muzammil (Shaurya Chakra) Memorial Cricket Tournament at the Sports Stadium here, as part of its efforts to promote sports and engage youth through community-oriented initiatives.

The tournament has drawn participation from 32 cricket teams from across Anantnag district, providing local players an opportunity to showcase their talent in a competitive and disciplined sporting environment.

Police said the initiative is aimed at providing youth with constructive avenues through sports while encouraging discipline, teamwork and fair play.

The participating teams and players were urged to maintain the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
