Emphasizing the role of reading in shaping a journalist, he said, “As a journalism student, reading is not just important—it’s essential. If you want to grow in this field, you need to read a lot of books.”
Students from the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semesters of Media Studies actively participated, adding to the success of the workshop. Sharing his experience, Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, a third-semester Media Studies student, said, “The session was a successful interactive activity, where we got to learn a lot, especially the coffee cup method. I would always have that in my mind.”
At the end of the session, a memento was awarded to Basharat Masood in recognition of his invaluable contributions. The motivation and participation of students emphasized the significance of the practical aspect in developing journalistic skills.(KNS)
