Srinagar January 04 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Halqa President of Malla Bagh, a long-time associate of the Mirwaiz family, The organization paid glowing tributes to his invaluable political, social, and organizational contribution.

Mirwaiz Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid rich tribute to the late Sheikh Bashir Ahmad for his significant political and organizational services and described his passing as a loss to the organization.

He stated that Sheikh Bashir dedicated his entire life to a noble cause as a sincere and devoted worker, remaining steadfast in his just stance until his last breath. A delegation from the organization participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased and conveyed condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family on behalf of the Mirwaiz.

Mirwaiz also expressed deep sorrow over the demise of another close associate of the Mirwaiz family, Ghulam Muhammad Darzi of Nala Bal, Nowshera, and the mother of Khursheed Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Illahi Bagh.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Mirwaiz also expressed sorrow over the demise of prominent broadcaster and intellectual Muzaffar Ahmad Kashani and extended condolences and solidarity with his son, Syed Sarwar Kashani, and the entire Kashani family.

Mirwaiz also expressed grief over the passing of prominent businessman Al-Haj Ghulam Ahmad Baktoo, a resident of Naseem Bagh,He offered his sympathies to the director of the “Kashmir Harvard,” Tariq Ahmad Baktoo, the son of the deceased, as well as to the other sons and members of the Baktoo family.

The organization on behalf of Mirwaiz extended condolences to the grieving families, praying for the elevation of the departed souls’ ranks and patience for the bereaved families.(KNS)
