Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of the spouse of Abdul Majeed Mir of Hazratbal, a retired civil chief engineer and a long-time member of Auqaf and Anjuman Nusratul-Islam. The Auqaf expressed condolence with the bereaved family members at this hour of grief.
The Anjuman in a statement said that Abdul Majeed Mir and his entire family have deep and close relations with the Mirwaiz family, and being their neighbors, they have close ties with each other.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir and Anjuman Auqaf President Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq led the funeral prayer of the deceased in which a large number of people from all walks of life participated.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mirwaiz expressed deep grief over the demise and termed the deceased as a very virtuous, pious and religious woman. He expressed solidarity with Adbul Majeed Mir and his sons Faheem Mir and Dr Faisal Mir and other relatives, and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz expressed deep sorrow over the demise of three sisters of the same family after they were burnt in a tragic incident of fire in Ramso area of district Ramban. He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for patience to the bereaved family members (KNS)
