Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNS): Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday expressed deep grief over the deaths of five people in a road accident in Karnah area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

In a post on X, Mirwaiz described the incident as tragic and said the growing frequency of road accidents across Jammu and Kashmir was a matter of serious concern, calling for urgent attention to road safety, infrastructure and preventive measures.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls. Mirwaiz also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.

“May Almighty Allah grant the departed Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength to their loved ones,” he said.(KNS)
