Srinagar, Dec 30 (KNS);: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sudden demise of Gowhar Ahmad Sofi, a young respected social activist of Shehr-e-Khas and resident of Kawdara, Srinagar, who passed away due to cardiac arrest.

Paying tribute, the Mirwaiz said that the late Gowhar Sofi was known for his helping and compassionate nature and was always at the forefront in assisting people in need. The Mirwaiz visited the residence of the deceased at Kawdara, where he offered condolences to his sons Umair Ahmad Sofi and Irfan Ahmad Sofi, his brothers Bilal Ahmad Sofi and Tariq Ahmad Sofi, and other bereaved family members. He prayed for patience and strength for the family and for the maghfirah and eternal peace of the departed soul.(KNS)
