Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Expresses Grief Over the Passing of Khwaja Ghulam Mustafa Darabu and Journalist Naseer Ahmad Wani

Srinagar, February 24 (KNS): Awami Action Commitee and its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, expressed deep sorrow over passing of a member of the Darabu family, Khwaja Ghulam Mustafa Darabu, son of the late Ghulam Muhammad Darabu, of Rambagh, Srinagar. The deceased was the maternal uncle of Advocate Bashir Ahmad Pandit, senior leader and a close associate of the organization and Mirwaiz family.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq paid tribute to the late Darabu, describing him as a highly courteous and sociable individual. He extended his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family and offered special prayers for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, on the instructions of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a high-level delegation comprising Haji Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Pir Ghulam Nabi, and Muhammad Yousuf Bhat visited Rambagh and Qamarabad Bemina. They attended the collective prayer gatherings for the deceased and conveyed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s message of condolence and sympathy to the bereaved families.(KNS)
