Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNS): MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi today conducted an extensive visit to the iconic SPS Library, reaffirming his commitment to preserving and enhancing the region’s intellectual heritage. 

Stressing the vital role libraries play in fostering knowledge and critical thinking, Pardesi said that libraries are not merely buildings filled with books; they are the cornerstone of an enlightened and progressive society.

He assured that comprehensive measures would be undertaken to upgrade and modernize the library, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of readers in the digital age.

“Steps will be taken to equip this library with state-of-the-art facilities while preserving its historical essence,” Pardesi stated, calling for collective efforts to make SPS Library a vibrant hub of knowledge and innovation for the region.
