Banihal; Feb 22 (KNS): In a significant move to enhance educational standards in rural areas, National Conference leader and MLA Banihal Sajjad Shaheen attended the annual function of Jamia Hafsa LilBinat and Sheikh-ul-Hind Academy Mandakbas. He emphasized the critical need for integrating Islamic and scientific education in madrasas to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience.
Addressing the attendees, Shaheen underscored that the first Quranic revelation, "Iqra" (Read), highlights the profound importance of education in Islam. He drew parallels to the pioneering efforts of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, whose establishment of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) was a landmark initiative in blending religious teachings with modern scientific education. These facilities aim to further enrich the educational environment and equip students with essential skills.
