Srinagar December 26 (KNS): Qaisar Jamsheed Lone MLA Lolab on Friday expressed concern over harassment of Kashmiri Shawl Sellers across the various parts of country.
According to a statement issued to here, he said that the Constitution of India guarantees every citizen the right to move, work, and trade freely across the country. I urge the concerned State Governments and law enforcement agencies to take immediate cognisance of these incidents, ensure the safety of Kashmiri shawl sellers, and take strict action against those responsible. Kashmiris are equal citizens of this country and must not be made to feel otherwise, he said.
Discrimination in any form cannot be allowed to take root. This must stop, he added. (KNS
