Jammu Feb 17 (KNS): Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad addressed a gathering of DPAP workers in Nagrota, Jammu, today emphasizing the crucial need to bolster grassroots efforts in anticipation of upcoming elections.

Azad commended the tireless dedication of party workers in expanding the party’s presence across every corner of the J&K (UT) within a span of just one and half years. Azad stressed the significance of ensuring victory in all Lok Sabha and assembly seats in the upcoming elections.

He underscored the pivotal role of grassroots mobilization in securing electoral triumphs and advancing the party’s agenda. “As we prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha and assembly elections, it is imperative that we intensify our grassroots efforts to secure victory.” Azad emphasized that his govt had sanctioned numerous development projects aimed at enhancing education, healthcare, infrastructure, and tourism in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

Azad highlighted key accomplishments, including the sanctioning of degree colleges, medical colleges, universities, schools, roads, bridges, yatri niwas, haj house, and various other vital projects. Meanwhile, Azad attacked National Conference, denounced their history of political opportunism and power-seeking tactics. He accused the NC of prioritizing their hunger for power over the interests of the people of J&K.

Azad pointed out that the NC had previously formed alliances with the BJP, despite ideological differences, and remained silent on critical issues such as the revocation of Article 370. He reiterated his stance against misleading the public and underscored his focus on addressing the real issues facing the region. Azad urged DPAP workers to actively communicate these achievements to the public, emphasizing their role in highlighting the positive impact of government initiatives on communities across J&K.
