Bishnah, January 11 (KNS): National Conference (NC) Additional General Secretary and Former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today reaffirmed his party’s commitment to fulfilling all its poll promises and steering Jammu and Kashmir toward a new era of peace, prosperity, and development.
“Chief Minister Jenab Omar Abdullah is working relentlessly to solve the problems facing all sections of society,” Mr. Sadhotra said during a One Day Convention held at
Bishnah which was organized by Pt. Sham Lal Block President and Ch. Naresh Bittu District President Jammu Rural.
Highlighting the party’s legacy of public service and its commitment to addressing the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Sadhotra said that the National Conference is deeply rooted in the region, with a proven track record of selfless service.
“The massive mandate in the 2024 elections reflects the trust and faith of the people in the National Conference’s leadership and its policies. Our political philosophy revolves around the welfare of the common people, and we remain steadfast in delivering on all our commitments,” he said.
The Additional General Secretary lauded Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his tireless efforts in ensuring the welfare of the people and addressing pressing issues. Referring to the government’s proactive measures, he cited the swift restoration of essential services following snowfall in the Kashmir Valley and the consistent provision of water, power, and other services across the state.
Mr. Sadhotra also underscored the historic contributions of the National Conference

During its various spells of governance, the National Conference has played a pivotal role in driving progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.Reiterating the party’s resolve, Sadhotra added, “The National Conference is committed to addressing the aspirations of people from all regions and sub-regions of J&K. We stand united to safeguard the rights and dignity of the people, ensuring that no one is left unheard or unattended.
Mr. Sadhotra urged the party cadre to intensify public outreach efforts, identify the concerns of the people, and work toward resolving them by raising them at
appropriate forums for prompt redressal.
The convention concluded on a positive note, with party workers and supporters pledging to strengthen the party’s base and continue working for the betterment of the people.
