Srinagar Mar 29 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leaders and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq and MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar, in collaboration with Director SKIMS Dr. Ashraf Ganie, HODs, senior doctors, and faculty, today kick started a plantation drive at SKIMS Soura.
This initiative is aimed to transform the campus into a lush green oasis and promote sustainability. Furthermore, Sadiq and Sagar highlighted the significance of planting native trees, as they are more resilient to local pests and diseases, thus reducing the need for harmful pesticides and other interventions.(KNS)
