Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNS): Rouble Nagi, a member of the National Commission for Minorities (NCM), said that displaced Kashmiri Pandits can choose whether they want to return to Kashmir, as there is no negative attitude towards them from the local people. After her visit to the region, Nagi confirmed that the security situation in the valley is peaceful.
She emphasized that people should focus on moving forward and not dwell on past events. Nagi also stated that violence or killing in the name of religion is unacceptable, and people of all religions in India live together peacefully.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelShe added that a lot of good work has been done in Jammu and Kashmir in recent years, and the number of killings has decreased.
Nagi met various minority groups during her visit and compiled a report on their concerns, which she will submit to the government in hopes of positive action. She also urged the public to support peace initiatives and work together for a better future. (KNS)
