Qalamabad, July 21(KNS): The Qalamabad Traders Association has recently selected new office bearers, with Mohammad Ashraf Sofi appointed as President and Reyaz Ahmed Qureshi selected as General Secretary.

According to the association, the last date for submission of nomination forms was July 17. Only one nomination form was received for the position of President and one for the position of General Secretary, resulting in both candidates being elected unopposed.

General Secretary Reyaz Ahmed Qureshi echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the concerns of the local shopkeepers, such as the malfunctioning drainage system and electricity problems.

He pledged to work closely with the authorities to find solutions and improve the conditions for the business community in Qalamabad.(KNS)
