Srinagar, April 27 (KNS): In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has urged for a decisive fight against terrorism while cautioning against alienating the local population.
In a post on X, Omar wrote: "The people of Kashmir have spoken firmly and unequivocally against terrorism and the killing of innocent civilians. Their condemnation has been free and spontaneous. Omar stressed that while action against terrorists must be strong and unrelenting, authorities must ensure that innocent civilians are not caught up in the crackdown. He warned that alienating the people would weaken the public support that is crucial for defeating terrorism. (KNS)
