Omar Abdullah Condemns Killing of Migrant Worker in Shopian

Srinagar, Oct 19(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday condemned the murder of a non-local labourer found dead in Shopian district, urging that such attacks be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

On Saturday, the body of a migrant worker from Bihar, identified as Ashok Chauhan, was found with bullet wounds in the Wachi area of Zainapora in South Kashmir's Shopian district.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelChauhan had been living in the Sangam area of Anantnag.

“Very sorry to hear about the death of Ashok Chouhan at the hands of militants in South Kashmir. These attacks are abhorrent & must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. I send my condolences to the family & loved ones of the deceased,” Abdullah said on X.(KNS).
