Only elected Govt can feel pain of people: Ghulam Hassan Mir

Srinagar, July 7 (KNS): Senior Vice President of Apni Party, Ghulam Hassan Mir, lashed out at the government for not holding elections in Jammu and Kashmir, saying it was a "painful" situation for the people.

"What is the government doing with the people of Jammu and Kashmir? If it was an elected government, it would have not been painful. They want their children to get employment. ?" Mir asked according to KNS correspondent.


Mir also expressed his support for democracy and elections, saying that Apni Party would come to power with "full force" in the upcoming elections.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

"InshaAllah, in the upcoming elections, we will bring our party to the stage with full power," he said.

The Senior Vice President also spoke about his own role in bringing development projects to Gulmarg, saying that his party was "strong" and would continue to fight for the people's rights.

"Our party, our own party, is always strong in its place. During Lok Sabha elections we did not field own candidate. People did not work in the way they should have done, but still they are strong with the party,"Mir said.
