Pahalgam Attack: Omar Abdullah Dismisses Pakistan’s Neutral Investigation Offer

Ramban, April 26 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday dismissed Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s reported offer for a neutral investigation into the recent Pahalgam terror attack, stating that the offer lacked credibility.

Speaking to reporters in Ramban, Omar Abdullah said, “First, they refused to even acknowledge that anything had happened in Pahalgam. They initially accused India itself. For those who level such accusations, it is difficult to trust or take their words seriously now.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

I do not want to comment much on their statements. Whatever happened was unfortunate and should not have happened.”

When questioned about concerns linking local displacement to the Indus Water Treaty, Omar Abdullah clarified that the issues were unrelated. “These projects were constructed as per the Indus Water Treaty. Whether the treaty is suspended or not has nothing to do with the current situation,” he said. (KNS)
