Srinagar, July 7(KNS): With the commencement of the month of Muharram today, the Azadar E Imam Hussain (AS) in Srinagar gathered at Imam Bargah Zadibal to observe the traditional Parcham Khushai/Flag Changing Ceremony. This sacred ritual marks the beginning of the mourning period for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions in Karbala.

The ceremony was attended by prominent religious leaders, scholars, and community members. Molvi Adeel, a renowned religious scholar, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Muharram and the importance of emulating Imam Hussain's (AS) values of courage, justice, and sacrifice.
