PDP condoles demise of Naeem Akhter's maternal uncle Farooq Nazki

Srinagar, February 7 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) has expressed deep sorrow and condolences to senior party leader and former Minister Naerem Akhter Andrabi and the bereaved family on the sad demise of Farooq Nazki, a distinguished poet, broadcaster, and former Director of Doordarshan and All India Radio (AIR) Srinagar.


Farooq Nazki sahab, maternal uncle of Naeem Akhter Andrabi Sahab, breathed his last on Tuesday at Narayana Hospital in Katra, leaving behind a legacy of literary and broadcasting contributions that enriched the cultural fabric of Jammu and Kashmir. 

JKPDP President Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, has conveyed heartfelt condolences to Naeem Sahab and the bereaved family and admirers of Farooq Nazki. Reflecting on the loss, Ms. Mufti remarked, "I am deeply saddened by the passing of Farooq Nazki Sahab. His invaluable contributions to literature and broadcasting have left an indelible mark on our cultural landscape. My thoughts and prayers are with his bereaved family & loved ones during this difficult time.”
