Srinagar, July 25(KNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Kargil War Memorial at approximately 9:20 AM to honor the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service.

Additionally, he will virtually inaugurate the first blast of the Shinkun La Tunnel Project.

The Shinkun La Tunnel Project entails the construction of a 4.1 km long Twin-Tube tunnel at an altitude of approximately 15,800 feet on the Nimu – Padum – Darcha Road, aimed at providing all-weather connectivity to Leh.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelUpon completion, it will stand as the highest tunnel globally.

This project is expected to significantly enhance the mobility of our armed forces and equipment, while also promoting economic and social development in Ladakh.(KNS).
