Political Leaders, Trade Bodies Visit Laigroo Residence to Condole Demise of Mohd Aslam Laigroo

Srinagar Jan 4 (KNS) : Political leaders, advocates, and representatives of prominent trade bodies visited the residence of PDP senior leader and former State Secretary Arif Laigroo to offer condolences on the demise of his beloved uncle, Mohd Aslam Laigroo, former Municipal Commissioner.

PDP Ex-Minister and Chairman Parliamentary Board Abdul Rehman Veeri visited the bereaved family and expressed profound grief over the loss, remembering the late Mohd Aslam Laigroo as an able, honest, and people-friendly administrator who served the public with dedication and integrity.

Those who paid condolence visits included Advocate Mohd Showkat Mir, Provincial President Kashmir, National Conference; Mohd Rafi Mir, General Secretary, Apni Party; Dr Harbaksh Singh, State Secretary, Apni Party; and Adv Imad Mir, Apni Party leader.

Representatives of various trade bodies also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, including Mohd Yaseen Khan of the Kashmir Traders Federation, Aijaz Shahdar, and members of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation.

The visiting leaders and delegations also offered condolences to the sons of the deceased—Irfan Aslam Laigroo, Zeeshan Aslam Laigroo, and Mehran Aslam Laigroo—and prayed for strength and patience for them and the entire family during this difficult time.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Speaking on the occasion, Adv Mohd Showkat Mir, Provincial President Kashmir, National Conference, said,“Mohd Aslam Laigroo was a respected and upright officer who served the people with sincerity and integrity. His demise is a great loss to society. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Arif Laigroo and the entire bereaved family.”

Mohd Rafi Mir, General Secretary, Apni Party, said
The passing away of Mohd Aslam Laigroo has created a void that will be difficult to fill. He will be remembered for his honesty, discipline, and commitment to public service. I pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family.”

Mohd Yaseen Khan, representing the Kashmir Traders Federation, said, Mohd Aslam Laigroo always maintained a cordial and constructive relationship with the trading community. His contribution as an administrator will be remembered with respect. We stand in solidarity with the Laigroo family in this hour of grief.”

All visitors prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathies with Arif Laigroo, Irfan Aslam Laigroo, Zeeshan Aslam Laigroo, Mehran Aslam Laigroo, and the entire bereaved family, praying for strength to bear the irreparable loss.(KNS)
