Srinagar, January 24 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has praised the initiative taken by Kashmir’s prominent Ulema representatives, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, to travel to New Delhi and meet with the chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee to raise their serious concerns about the proposed Waqf Amendment Bill.
In his statement, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “It is a matter of great satisfaction that Kashmir’s Ulema representatives, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, traveled to New Delhi to meet with, the chairperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee, to voice their profound concerns regarding the proposed Waqf Amendment Bill.”
