Srinagar, Feb 23 (KNS): In its endeavor to reach the weaker sections of the society, a team of Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) headed by Dr. Pallavi Gillani visited a Yateem trust at Chanapora Srinagar today and donated utility items.
The team headed by Dr. Pallavi Gillani included Anita Kumar, Nusrat Jahan Ara, Eva Rayees, Ponam Patil and Rohi Jan. The team members visited Muhammadia Yateem Trust, in the forenoon and spent time with orphans and distributed sweets and other eatable items among them. Dr. Pallavi Gillani had a meeting with the management of the trust and assured that Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) will provide more items of utility including stationery in near future for the students putting up there.
On this occasion Chairman of the trust Aijaz Ahmad Dar thanked and appreciated the efforts of the Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) and hoped that the association will continue to provide assistance in future also. (KNS)
